Grand Lighting

Kick off Christmas in Atlantic with one of the most magical nights of the season!

Join us at the historic Rock Island Depot for an evening filled with Christmas music, hot chocolate, a free hot dog meal and a GLOW party while we wait for the guest of honor. Then, watch for Santa as he makes his grand arrival in Atlantic with Christmas music leading the way!

Once Santa arrives, he’ll help officially kick off the holiday season by lighting the beautiful Christmas trees throughout Downtown Atlantic. Then follow Santa up Chestnut Street to City Park, where he’ll settle into Santa’s Cabin for his first visits of the season.

Bundle up, grab the family and come experience the night Atlantic officially lights up for Christmas!
