Who's Who in Atlantic

Camblin, Cappel, Deter, Tyler, and Whitney are some of the familiar names in Atlantic. Have you heard these names: McWaid, Fritz, Finkbine, Fuhlendorf, or Mallette? They are all important to Atlantic and the area since 1868. Some of the families stretch from the beginning of Atlantic until now.

Who's Who in Atlantic is the April theme for the Sesquicentennial celebration. Who would be on your list? Robbers, heroes, and internationally known business people are all part of Atlantic's history.

Steve Livengood and LaVon Eblen will give their perspectives on a few of the military, business and community persons who have been notable over the years. Learn what they did and how they are connected.

The program will be presented Sunday, April 15 beginning at 2 PM at the American Legion Memorial Building. Refreshments will be available. There is no fee. Event sponsored by Atlantic Rock Island Society Enterprise (ARISE).
